Spring is here and I am pushing to get the last logs on the walls, but the height and complexity of the build is making it more challenging. There are not many logs left to go on the walls but I expect some of them to be very difficult. Some are so big that my tractor is not going to be able to lift them, and others need to be placed where my tractor can not reach as you will see in the video. ...

Hey man hope you read this if you haven't found a solution to getting the straps out easy. Get an inflatable heavy duty lift bag. They make ones you can cram into tight spaces and then inflate to lift a metric butt ton. we use em all the time when redoing house foundations. I think the official term is an Air Wedge. And you don't need ones rated for the weight of the log. Just enough to bow it up a smidge at the strap area to pull her through. 300-800lbs would be my guess rating wise.

I have been binging through today, and I thought for a couple of episodes that you could use a scaffolding tower. I realise you don’t have the time but some of the very small trees you had on the edges of your plot could’ve been cut and used to make a tower of a good height. You could have used the tractor to move it if it was particularly heavy.

Well there goes the off grid experience! That roll of extra cable you have below tge antenna is reducing reception. I know you dont wantvto cut it tomwaste but the shorter the length the stronger the reception.

When he's banging the logs together it's so satisfying watching the gaps in between the notches disappear, this is the way to do it too, I think it so much more professional looking than the butt and pass technique. Beautiful job tho!!! Tons and tons of work but when it's done the feeling you have must be almost like winning the lottery, maybe even better
